??? v. Kennedy

Funny thing I suppose. Last night I e-mailed Mark Sides regarding the site Dayton v. Kennedy and said that I thought it could be next year's Daschle v. Thune.

Well, Dayton v. Kennedy was even more successful that I had thought: Senator Dayton pulled out of the race today. Three cheers for our good friend Doug of Bogus Gold and the rest of the Dayton v. Kennedy gang for their successful blog swarm! (Hee hee).

Seriously guys, the Dems aren't going to roll over - I hope you'll have your new site ready when they do.

Look for Kennedy v. Ciresi coming to a url near you.

Ciresi is possible, but he's no favorite. I worry about Bill Luther.

And Dayton v. Kennedy will be fine. I just joined recently, and really the URL isn't the point.

Doug,

I was just playing with words. I agree that the url is fine. I suspect Luther won't run--I think he had enough as a Congressman. Ciresi can buy the positive publicity he needs. He has an open checkbook and will have no qualms about running a negative campaign against Kennedy, who by the way is the nicest guy in the world. Only other possibles are Hatch and Marty. Oh, if only Betty McCollum would run.

I think Ciresi gets the nomination from the dems, though.
