Rick Warren Saves a Life

Unless you've been living under a rock, you've heard the story of the Atlanta woman who convinced judge-killer Brian Nichols to turn himself in. Apparently she was aided by The Purpose-Driven Life. I'm thankful the woman is safe and the killer is behind bars, but we can now expect to hear a whole lot about Rick Warren's book in the coming days. I would refer readers to the following posts as it concerns the PDL:

Tim Challies reviews Warren's new column in Ladies Home Journal.

The Internet Monk on Warren.

Maybe it was the meth fix she gave him that calmed him down?! No offense but, isn't it odd that the glory isn't going to God but to Rick Warren instead?

In your purpose driven books, all: Turn to page 58. 'Believe and receive', 'Warren states. 'Welcome to the family!' -- No mention of sin or repenting on his tapes, even. And chapter 11 has eastern pagan influences, sadly. :(

Please pray over this before allowing your church to participate in any of Rick Warren programs. I've been through his brainwashing and thank God for opening my family's eyes.
Take the Sword ( God's Scripture ) to Warren's book.
In Jesus Christ,
